Job Description:
A company is looking for a Coordinator, P2P Appeals to support
the reimbursement cycle for healthcare clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule Peer to Peer calls with Medical Directors and follow up on
pending cases
Document information from payer calls and update multiple
databases
Provide support for case entry, Peer to Peer, and appeals
processes
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree
preferred
Call center experience preferred
Understanding of denials processes for Medicare, Medicaid, and
Commercial/Managed Care is a plus
Prior experience with hospital EMRs and Payer Portals preferred
Proficient in MS Word and Excel, with basic formula knowledge
