TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Rehab RN in Louisville, Kentucky, 40202 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg / Acute Inpatient Rehab Job Specialty: Rehab Nursing Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift (19:00-07:00) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: 2 years of recent experience License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS AHA, NIH Must-Have: - Trach care - G-tube care - Wound care - IV administration Job Description: - Block booking allowed - Must reside 50 miles from the facility to be considered - Provide compassionate care and promote teamwork within the unit - Work in a unit with 11 beds and maintain patient ratios of 5:1 or 6:1 - Handle equipment such as IV pumps, feeding pumps, vents, BiPAP/CPAP, and wound negative pressure therapy - Use Cerner and ITW for electronic medical records (EMR) - Preferred candidates should have acute rehab/med surg experience, ACLS, and VAD certification - Participate in mandated weekend hours every third weekend - Adhere to dress code, wearing galaxy blue scrubs The RN role in the Med Surg/Acute Inpatient Rehab unit is vital for delivering high-quality care and supporting patient recovery.
