Job Description:

We are looking for a Medical Assistant with LMR Certification to work in our fast paced podiatric clinic.Duties include but are not limited to:Assists the doctor by collecting pertinent patient informationPerforms selected treatments, diagnostic procedures, and various xraysAssisting physicians with minor in-office medical proceduresScheduling testing procedures such as MRI'sCommunicating patient needs with physiciansDirect patient careCompleting forms/referrals/recerts and updating chartsPerforms all radiographic exams and is responsible for all film qualityMaintains radiation safety per departmental policyKeeps all x-ray equipment and supplies clean, maintained and stocked.Application of splints, braces and wound dressings in correct manner.Assist physician with exams/procedures.Other duties as assignedQualificationsHigh School Diploma or Equivalent requiredMedical Assistance Certification requiredLimited Radiographer Certification requiredBasic Life Support Certification required2+ of LMR experienceDirect patient care experience preferredBenefits401(k)AD&D insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceDisability insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offJob Type: Full-TimeSchedule: Monday - Friday
