TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Lafayette, Indiana, 47905 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Emergency Department Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 3 years in Emergency Department License: Valid RN License Certifications: ACLS, PALS Must-Have: 3 years of experience in ED Job Description: - Provide high-quality nursing care to patients across the lifespan with various illness, injury, and behavioral health needs. - Work in a Level III trauma center, stroke center, and cardiac center. - Manage patient care with a standard patient ratio of 1:4, with potential for more in the fast-track area. - Utilize equipment such as Level I fluid warmers and maintain proficiency with the Epic EMR system. - Collaborate effectively with a team-oriented approach to deliver exceptional patient care. - Follow the dress code policy, wearing navy blue scrubs specific for RNs. - Adapt to the fast-paced environment of the Emergency Department efficiently. - Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations. Note: Weekend hours required every other to every third weekend. No call or float requirements.
