qualified Med/Surg RN in Bloomington, Indiana, 47408 Pay

Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Medical Surgical Job Duration: 13
weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not
specified Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: In-state or
compact license required Certifications: BCLS required Must-Have:
Knowledge of Med/Surg; Proficiency in starting IVs and using a
nasal cannula. Preferred experience in interpretation and
management of dysrhythmias and previous charge experience.
Experience with CERNER. Job Description: - This role may include
charge nurse responsibilities based on operational needs. Training
and resources will be provided; applicants must be comfortable with
this requirement. - Compliance with a vaccine policy is required,
including the flu vaccine, with medical or religious exemptions
available. - Applicants must be willing to work every other weekend
and fulfill holiday shift requirements. - Floating is mandatory and
may involve working across the hospital or at nearby affiliate
hospitals. - The unit is adjacent to the Emergency Department,
handling medical surgical patients held overnight for further
observation and workup. - Patient diagnoses include COVID,
abdominal pain, respiratory distress, and other symptoms requiring
further evaluation. - Modules for orientation are non-billable and
average 4-6 hours, with a 12-hour orientation period. Please ensure
